Pauline's book about her unconventional fight against breast cancer offers hope to so many. When she chose to step away from mainstream treatment and find an alternative way to treat and cure her cancer, she was walking into the unknown but her courage and determination did not waiver and in the end, she won her battle. The book is filled with, not only her fight against a terrible illness but also, her amazing and colorful life, her world travels and her relationships. Her sense of humor shines through and not once did her illness interfere or interrupt her busy life. If you know anyone suffering from an illness, read this book. It will inspire and empower you.

Pauline Lomas has written a heartbreakingly beautiful account of her own personal journey through heartache and illness, illustrating throughout the book the connection between body and spirit. A must-read for anyone who needs healing - physical, emotional, or - as we learn from Ms. Lomas - both.

This is a wonderful book - easy to read and engaging to the point that you just want to keep on reading. What really attracted me is that this is a true story in which the author found her own way back to herself and her own health. You will learn through Pauline´s story the varied and innovative ways that she found to heal the cancer that was in her body. There is a love story here that I couldn't wait to discover. If you are in need of encouragement on your own road of health recovery this book is truly inspirational and informative. I strongly and lovingly recommend it!

An amazing story written by a courageous and sensitive warrior- woman with whom I shared my house during some of her trials.

I found Pauline´s journey both fascinating and inspiring as she searches to find the cause and cure for her "Breast Cancer." No ordinary love story, and a must for anyone looking for alternative healing information. Beautifully written.

We are in the presence of quite an extraordinary book, in which the author lets us live step by step her most exciting adventure. After reading it, one understands the meaning of something which people say, that fact surpasses fiction, because when a person faces a potentially terminal illness no transactions or arrangements are of any value, just your own truth. Authenticity blows throughout the text like a fresh breath of hope.
As a writer, Pauline reveals modern qualities: reading this book is an enjoyable experience. The judicious integration of images into text reminds us of some multimedia techniques; then she also uses rich and inspiring words. Formally a diary, the work goes well beyond the standards and depicts the spiritual depth of the author, her vision of life as a struggle to understand and love one's body without forgetting one’s soul. Taken by her hand, we discover how the time honoured search for inner balance suddenly becomes urgent and poignant when the body breaks its own rules and cells go haywire. The struggle for life, the proposals of our merchant society, so many other options which exist... everything gets portrayed in this story, where we can watch, like in a mirror, her own inner processes through the words of the people who love her.
As children we were told that archangels are a special breed of angels, which next to their natural sweetness have the strength and courage to overcome the most fearsome demons. Pauline Lomas is an example for all of how a steely determination can be associated with a tender soul; this time housed in a shape perfect enough for Hollywood. An unpretending angel, with the humility of she who knows that life is fleeting and that we are all equal before illness. An angel that has made it.

Estem en presència d’un llibre força extraordinari, en el que l’autora ens deixa viure pas a pas la seva més apassionant aventura. Després de llegir-lo, un comprèn què vol dir allò que tant s’ha dit, que la realitat supera la ficció, i és que quan una persona es troba confrontada a a una malaltia potencialment terminal no valen ni transaccions ni pactes, només serveix la veritat amb un mateix. Aquesta autenticitat es respira en tot el text com una alenada d’aire fresc i esperançador.
De petits ens explicaven que els arcàngels són uns àngels especials, que ajunten a la seva natural dolçor una força i un coratge capaços de vèncer els dimonis més temibles. Així és Pauline Lomas, un exemple per a tots de com una voluntat fèrria pot anar associada a una ànima tendra i bona, en aquesta ocasió dins d’una forma prou perfecta per a Hollywood. Pauline Lomas has created a beautiful book that illustrates how a journey of self healing is also part of the life journey for here is a parallel journey of true love. This journey quest brings not only personal healing but also insight, understanding and compassion. It leaves us with the insight that although cancer can disrupt our lives it is also an opportunity to really value what lies at our heart. It also reminds us that each journey of self healing is uniquely our own. This, in itself, makes it a book that needs to be shared.
Beautifully illustrated, here is a book lovingly created and straight from the heart. Truly a book to be treasured.
